It’s cocktail time!  Around the holidays, it seems like we always have a case of champagne in the house—okay, maybe that’s all the time, but I digress.  Nonetheless, I get so tired of the same old mimosas that everyone knows and loves.  Instead, I try to think outside the box and think of something that would be equally enjoyable, but have more curb appeal than the latter.  For me, it has to be my blueberry and rosemary champagne spritzers.

Cocktail Party

Now that fall is officially here, I felt the need to celebrate with dishes that get me in the mood.  Obviously, the perfect thing to both put you in the mood and fight the cold is a nice libation.  For me, it has to be my hard cider.  This isn’t just any festive drink; this is the type of drink that is so smooth and flavorful that you don’t realize there is a ton of alcohol in it.  Then, the next thing you know, you’re waking up with your top off—but I digress.  So, let’s get started with this autumnal bombshell, shall we? What says summer more than fresh ingredients?  Moreover, what says summer more than lemonade?  Now that I’ve breeched adulthood, I am finding solace in a weekly-or nightly-libation.  To me, it has to be my Strawberry Lemonades to make the clouds go away.  This drink pairs the perfect pucker of fresh lemons and lemonade with crimson, sweet strawberries.
